Everyone's Going Crazy Over These Deep-Fried Halloumi Fries in London
Three words: deep-fried cheese. Yes, the cheese gods have answered all your prayers in the form of one of life’s greatest pleasures: halloumi fries.
‘Shut up and take my money,’ we hear you scream. You’re not alone – Oli Baba has been everyone’s best friend since he set up shop in Camden Market back in 2015. Why is he such a hotshot? Simple. He’s been frying up delicious fried fingers of halloumi cheese. Think: gooey on the inside and deliciously crispy on the outside.
Loaded with oodles of calcium, you can easily class them as one of your five a day (that’s what we told ourselves anyway). Just look at them:

Topped with mint leaves, pomegranate seeds and a few drop-dead tasty sauces, the popular Cypriot/Turkish delicacy has been given a rather tasty Middle Eastern twist. And yes, the wonderful creation is served alongside a hearty serving of handmade and authentic fattoush (traditional bread).
Deep-fried cheese? Bread? London? Street food? We’re sold. Are you?
