Celebrating Australia Day In London
Aussies celebrate Australia Day annually on 26th January. In Australia, this means celebrating the first European settlement on the island in 1788. In London, however, it celebrates the Aussies who have returned to mother England – and brought the party with them. Here’s the low-down on where to go for Australia Day 2018.
Tropicana Beach Club
Nightclub, Australian
Get down to Tropicana Beach Club in Covent Garden where the tropical vibes should make Aussies feel right at home – this is the closest January in London gets to Bondi Beach. Expect beer pong, surf-and-turf tacos and two-for-one deals on beers and brandy rums in honour of Australia Day.
