Vintage to Vogue

With a real passion for quality pieces, owners John and Imren Lowin have turned Vintage to Vogue into the ultimate stop for vintage fashion fans. Stocking a fantastic selection of authentic womenswear and menswear, from the 1900s through to classic contemporary designers, everything is hand-picked and in ready-to-wear condition. They also work with a local tailor to help make sure you get the perfect fit with any alterations and offer a styling and sourcing service if you’re after some specific for a special occasion.

Bath Vintage and Antiques Market

Running on the first and last Sunday of every month at Green Park Station, a stunning Victorian building in central Bath, the Vintage and Antiques Market has a bit of everything. As well as all manner of decorative antiques and collectables, you can browse stands selling beautiful vintage fashion and jewellery, as pretty decent prices. Don’t forget to haggle to get a bargain!

The Yellowshop

There’s no chance of walking by The Yellowshop without noticing, thanks to its (yes, you’ve guessed it) bright yellow exterior. Inside you’ll find an excellent selection of retro clothes, from the 60s onwards, as well as some new ‘vintage-inspired’ pieces. You can expect a friendly welcome, as you trawl through the rails of clothes and rows of incredible shoes and boots.

Julian House Charity Shop

Situated in the heart of Bath’s Artisan Quarter, this charity shop supports the work of Julian House, a local homelessness charity. Although it’s not specifically a vintage shop, it always stocks a large vintage section of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories – and the prices are excellent. Well worth a rummage.

Jack and Danny’s

With rails upon rails of cool retro pieces including dresses, jackets, coats and bags, Jack and Danny’s is heaven for shoppers who love nothing more than to get stuck in and dig out a vintage gem. Despite the hefty quantity of clothes on display, the quality is very good, so it’s worth taking the time to really explore what this little shop has to offer.
