The name of this restaurant was given in honour of the owner Matt’s late grandad, Ernest Ellery Clayton. Ernest was a baker all of his life, and his handmade bread recipes are now used in the restaurant today using locally milled organic flour. Matt travels to local markets to acquire the best and freshest ingredients to use in the menu, creating exquisite dishes such as braised lamb shank and portobello, and garlic wild mushrooms with duo of cheeses. Make sure to sample the dessert menu too, particularly the homemade turkish delight.
