This collection of seven lovely stone cottages exhibits a classic rural English style, with rugged wooden beams, whitewashed wooden furniture and bathrooms with large, freestanding tubs. Set in a centuries-old Georgian country house, the Burgoyne has been renovated to modern standards of five-star comfort while retaining beautiful period touches such as antique beds and sash windows. Two drawing rooms with inglenook fireplaces and shelves full of books and games make the perfect place to curl up for an evening, while the 1783 Restaurant serves seasonal, regional cuisine, such as spring lamb rump and wild mushrooms.
