Sweet shops are the perfect addition to your Instagram feed. There’s just something about their cool, quirky and vibrant appeal which makes you snap-happy, whilst leaving you drooling at the same time. We’ve collated five sweet shops from around the world that we think are super Instagram-worthy. Why not check them out…

Papa’s Sweet Shop

How retro, cool and inviting does this sweet shop in Newfoundland, Canada look? The array of colours really makes this place look fun, as well as the funky checkerboard flooring, old-fashioned signs on the wall and gum ball machine that shows off its ’60s vibe. The bright hanging balls look good enough to eat too! Papa’s Sweet Shop is definitely one for Instagram.

Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe

This lovely, quaint, Victorian-style sweet shop is certainly worth capturing. Its dim walls are illuminated by various old-fashioned sweet favourites. The neatly presented shelves are also quite pleasing to the eye, and make you want to take out our camera to snap a quick shot for Instagram. Want a taste of your youth? Cranch’s Sweetshop

Situated in Devon in the UK, Cranch’s Sweetshop has to be one of the prettiest, traditional-looking sweet shops. It’s been a family business since 1869 and this is why we love it. The outside is just as picture-perfect as the inside, with its pink and white striped decoration throughout. Even the similarly designed paper bags you receive your sweets in are photo-worthy! It gives a sense of nostalgia, and that’s why it’s one of our picks.

Dylan’s Candy Bar

Like something out of Willy Wonka’s Factory, Dylan’s Candy Bar couldn’t look any more appealing. Vibrant colours, an iconic, oversized lollipop tree, candy cane columns, dripping chocolate shelves, kaleidoscopic candy wallpaper and candy-embedded staircases – Instagram worthy? Let’s not even question it. The creativity is astounding and quite simply, on another level.

Candy Freaks

Definitely appears a bit odd, don’t you think? Candy Freaks, located in the heart of Amsterdam’s city centre, serves up the best candy, waffles and chocolate in town – and this immediately makes us want to go. But the best thing is, is they specialise in organic, natural and sugar-free sweets, so you can take away a bag of their delectable, wholesome candies and take a pic of their freaky decor too!
