Covering incredible athleticism and outstanding locations, we celebrate the work of some of the most exciting photographers in the sports and adventure industries today.

Chris Burkard

With a hefty focus on water sports, and surfing in particular, Chris Burkard is not just a brilliant photographer, he also has public speaking, writing and adventurism all on his CV. A keen traveller, his work if often shot amid spectacular landscapes throughout the year, covering a variety of environments and the sports within them.

Kevin Winzeler

Photographer Kevin Winzeler grew up in Utah playing a number of different sports, much of which he has covered in his professional work since. Understandably, the outdoors features heavily amid his portfolio, with sporting subjects amid epic locations and the challenges that they face.

Vanessa Andrieux

Born and raised in France, Vanessa Andrieux has taken her work from her home country onto the international stage. A glance through her portfolio highlights her versatility, covering fashion and lifestyle in addition to snowboarding, yoga and running. Her clients include the likes of Salomon, Volcom, Billabong, Rossignol.

Drew Collins

Photographer and filmmaker Collins is a natural born adventurer. His work displays a clear focus on trekking, hiking and generally staying active in the outdoors. Collins is readying himself for the Three Peaks Challenge (scaling the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales), only he’s actually walking the vast distances in between each peak, rather than driving it like everybody else. He hopes to achieve the feat in 24 days, as opposed to the normal 24 hours.

Camilla Rutherford

Although a Brit, Scotland to be precise, Camilla Rutherford moved to Wanaka — not far from the amazing Mount Aspiring National Park — on New Zealand’s South Island. The exquisite landscapes and terrain have helped produce a body of work that makes her one of the best photographers in the industry.

Dustin Snipes

Dustin Snipes is a Los Angeles-based portrait and sports photographer. Dustin has been published across international publications, including his recent work at the Spanish Riding School in Austria to promote the World Volleyball Championships. The pictures produced focused on the incredible location to promote Vienna, the city set to host the competition later in the summer of 2017.

Daniel Fox

Daniel Fox travels the world with the aim of telling stories through his work. The landscapes involved play a large part, whether it be journeys Fox has done himself, or capturing incredible events such as the iconic sailing race, the Express 27 Nationals. As well as his photographic work, Fox is also the founder of W.I.L.D., an initiative that raises funds to organize camps for underprivileged youth.

Dan Milner

Returning recently off the back of trips to South Africa and Lesotho, Milner’s particular focus is on mountains and the sports that come with them — think skiing, hiking and mountain biking. Not restricted to the still, his portfolio includes films also.

Mirja Geh

Born in Germany, but living in Austria since the age of 16, Geh has firmly stuck her flag in the world of winter sports and the action that they provide. Clearly in love with all things Alpine, she can list some of the biggest brands in sport as her clients.

Dave Lehl

Lehl splits his portfolio into two distinct categories; Light and Dark. Within both it’s possible to find snowboarding, running, motor sport, skateboarding and even the odd bit of rodeo for good measure. The variety within the of body of work is spectacular.

About the author

Luke was born and raised in various parts of south London, before studying Politics and Social Psychology at Loughborough University. His time in the midlands was limited to his study and upon his return to the capital (via the obligatory travelling in between), wrote for a number of different local and national publications, before moving into the editorial side of things. Aside from the obvious interest in sport, he loves food, travel, reading and film, but if any can somehow incorporate sport in the process, then all the better.
