$20 may not seem like it will get you very far in an expensive European metropolis such as London, but in reality, thanks to many free sites and tasty food markets, you can go a whole day without spending any more money than that!

Start off your $20 day with a tasty and affordable breakfast at Borough Market, located in Southwark, South London. There will be a myriad of options to choose from, so come hungry and don’t worry, your stomach and wallet will leave full!

Next up, take a short stroll to the Tate Modern on South Bank. This is one of the most important cultural institutions in the UK and much of its collection is free to check out! There are always really cool, interactive installations in the main lobby, so make sure to explore them even if you’re not really an art person.

If you’re in need of a caffeine fix at this point, make your way to Algerian Coffee Store in Soho for a delicious hot drink priced at £1.

Next, head to the iconic Natural History Museum in South Kensington for some prehistoric Instagrammable moments—all, yet again, at no charge.

Whiz your way east for another street food feast, this time for lunch at Old Spitalfields Market.

You can then check out an amazing view of the city from London’s Sky Garden at no charge, and then set off to find some Banksy! There is tons of street art around the neighborhood, so keep your eyes peeled.

Lastly, make your way northwest to Camden Market, where you can check out some crazy stalls and complete your day with—you guessed it—more delicious cheap eats.
