A medieval ambience, delicious Ukrainian cuisine and live music can be found in most Lutsk restaurants. However, there are also some spots for those who miss Italian, European and even American food. Check out the list below to choose a perfect place for dinner.

1. Felichita

Restaurant, European, Italian

Felichita is located in the very centre of Lutsk, so it is impossible to miss it. The restaurant has an incredibly homely and cosy ambience, with an interior decorated in light tones. On the menu, guests are offered popular European and Italian dishes: salads, pasta, risotto and classic desserts like tiramisu. For example, the signature option is the thin-crust pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven. Moreover, Felichita is a great spot for late breakfast or brunch, as it has a wide selection of morning dishes.

2. Vitovt's Crown

Restaurant, European

Vitovt’s Crown is a legendary venue in Lutsk, situated under the medieval fortress — one of Ukraine’s splendid castles. It was first opened in 1996 on the spot where the 1429 Congress of Lutsk (a diplomatic gathering) was held. In terms of food, the restaurant serves European and Ukrainian dishes, cooked in accordance with ancient recipes. The two-level space is decorated in the style of princely times with vaulted ceilings, luxurious chandeliers and dark furniture. In the evenings, you can watch live performances of Ukrainian music here.

3. Panych

Restaurant, European

The best place to try proper Ukrainian dishes is Panych. Here you can enjoy creamy banush (well-smoked corn grits), salo (pork fat), borscht with pampushki (fritters) and other popular delicacies. The ethnic restaurant has two spacious rooms with colourful interiors, decorated like a traditional local hut: wooden tables, rushnyky (embroidered towels), flowers and various household items. It is an ideal venue for both a business lunch or evening family feast, as its delicious food and extraordinary atmosphere will make everyone happy.

5. Kurin

Restaurant, European

Kurin is a restaurant where you can get acquainted not only with traditional Ukrainian cuisine but also with the taste of regional dishes. Kruchenyky (meat rolls) with different fillings like mushrooms or vegetables is a local speciality in Lutsk and the larger Volyn region. Clay walls, massive furniture and embroidered linens showcase what the ethnic style looks like. A pleasant atmosphere, kind and friendly staff, famous Ukrainian hospitality and popular music will make your time at Kurin unforgettable.

6. Patio Di Fiori

Hotel Restaurant, Restaurant, European, Italian

Patio Di Fiori is one of the best restaurants in the city. The menu includes popular European options, as well as an assortment of the chef’s signature dishes. Most importantly, all the food is made in-house. Therefore, everything from bread to pastries and desserts are always freshly prepared. To accompany the food, you can choose from an amazing collection of wines from Italy, France and Spain. Located in the heart of Lutsk, the restaurant can be easily found even by those who are visiting the city for the first time.

7. Khinkalʹnya

Restaurant, Georgian

From the restaurant’s name, it is easy to guess that it specializes in khinkali (filled dumplings). Khinkalʹnya is a chain of restaurants that offers Georgian dishes, which are much loved by locals. In addition to dumplings, there are khachapuri (cheese-filled bread), grilled meat and vegetables, kharcho (beef soup) and, of course, tasty Georgian wines. It is a family-friendly spot. You’re sure to be delighted with the mouthwatering and affordable food in a chic and colourful atmosphere of the Caucasus country.
