1. Garito Café

This super-cool hipster hangout has been in full swing since the decade of disco. Garito Café is more of an intimate bar that turns club as the atmosphere ramps up a gear late into the night. It’s a magnet for some of the top international dance and house DJs, as well as live bands who play to the enthusiastic and artsy crowd. Nestled in Can Barabara Marina, you can also line the stomach with great food early in the evening on the outdoor terrace, accompanied by views over the harbor.

2. Brooklyn Club

Located in the trendy neighborhood of Santa Catalina, this tiny but no less lively nightclub is a huge hit with the locals. Run by the same crew who own Palma’s landmark club Tito’s, everything is on point for a guaranteed fun night. With a late license, delicious cocktails, and a packed poppy dance-floor downstairs, it’s easy to see why many head here after an evening of bar hopping in hip Calle Magi.

3. Pacha Mallorca

One of the most recognizable and fashionable club brands in the Balearic Islands – if not the world – Pacha Mallorca is a great place to see and be seen. Though the entrance fees are higher than most, no expense is spared on the chic décor, world-famous DJs, and sensational sound system. Strut your stuff to house and funk music on the glitter-balled dance floor, head to the R&B room for a change of scene, or relax in the pretty landscaped gardens outside.

5. Puro Beach Club

If it’s more about the daytime, beach-club vibe you’re after, head to the sophisticated Puro Beach. The gorgeous club certainly doesn’t hold back on the Balearic chic and is the perfect spot for chilling to some ambient tunes while lounging by the waterside or cooling off in its black-tiled pool. Prices are not for the faint-hearted, however; a day here will certainly leave a dent in the wallet.

6. Kaelum

For a more spit-and-sawdust experience, you can join the revellers for a spot of Saturday afternoon clubbing. Doors of Kaelum open at 5pm to pump out the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and classic Motown tunes to a laid-back and very mixed crowd. At the end of a long day drinking and dancing shoulder to shoulder with sweaty strangers, you can be tucked up in bed before midnight, cocoa in hand, and a full night of beauty sleep ahead.
