Astral Cocktail Bar

Established in 2002, Astral Cocktail Bar has become one of Marbella’s best-known cocktail bars. It is located near the entrance of Puerto Banus and sits close to the beach. The whole bar is crafted entirely out of wood, adding a design punch to the already impressive setting. With such a vast array of impressibly-presented cocktails to choose from, customers are left spoilt for choice. A great spot to start the night, or linger on into the evening.

The Playwright

The Playwright Bar was established in 2011 and prides itself on being a testimonial to the great playwrights, including Shakespeare and Wilde. The bar is quite a traditional one, serving some of the best beers and spirits Spain has to offer, as well as having one of the largest whiskey collections in the country, with some bottles dating back to the 1800s. Customers are welcome to sample if they wish, or simply enjoy a quiet drink. A restaurant is also attached, for those looking for something to accompany their drink.

La Taberna del Pinxto

La Taberna del Pinxto is a traditional bar, serving tapas and other small bites. There are cold dishes at the bar, and small plates of hot tapas brought around to the table by the waiting staff. It’s the perfect complement to the traditional drinks available and a very Spanish way to start the evening.

Located in Marbella’s beautiful Old Town, El Palique is the place to go for a taste of traditional Spain. This bar offers customers cocktails and tapas at reasonable prices and is an attractive choice for many holiday goers. However, the bar is also a favourite with locals who enjoy the classic décor and atmosphere. It is a far cry from the contemporary surroundings of Marbella’s modern tourist resorts. Sitting outside admiring the beautiful cobbled streets and old houses of Marbella Old town is the ideal way to enjoy a long sunny evening.

Olivia Valere

Olivia Valere provides a buzzing atmosphere and is a great destination for a fun packed night out. The décor is modern and stylish, fitting perfectly with Marbella’s modern town and there’s plenty of space for both drinking and dancing to a live DJ. The music creates an electric atmosphere that is always up. This is the perfect way to round off a holiday and let your hair down.

Coffee Break I

Barrocco Café Cocktail Bar

Situated close to the beach, Barrocco Café Cocktail Bar is the perfect spot for a quiet drink while overlooking the Med. The bar, as the name suggests, is both a café and a cocktail bar and offers a selection of coffees and delicious cocktails. The bar is primarily a sports bar during the day with TV screens presenting different sports while building up a lively atmosphere during the evening. However, there’s also a children’s play area, making Barrocco family-friendly and suitable for everyone.

Frank’s Corner

Frank’s Corner is especially popular with tourists. Situated only a few minutes from the beach front, this is the ideal spot for an evening drink after a busy day in Marbella. With constant music and sports playing on a total of eight TVs, there is always something to catch the your interest and the atmosphere buzzes. Plus there’s a pool available for guests use (for a small fee).

Located on the Paseo Maritimo only a short walk from the sea front, The Boardwalk is a lovely bar that offers both food and drink. Elegant and sophisticated, it offers a selection of drinks and snacks including a great range of cocktails, cakes and even traditional afternoon tea. It may not be a typically Spanish-themed bar but it is wonderful experience all the same.

Sala Beach is a calm and tranquil bar that allows guests to enjoy drinks overlooking beautiful views of the sea. Located in Puerta Banus, it offers an escape from the hectic lifestyle of Marbella.
