If you’re in the mood for a little holiday romance, stay in one of Ibiza’s sexiest hotel suites to set the mood – bookable on Culture Trip.

Ibiza is known to many party-goers as the place to be and for good reason. Tourists visit for the epic clubbing scene, flawless beaches and the endless people to meet along the way. Whether you’re visiting with your partner or going solo, Ibiza has some seriously sexy hotel suites for you to experience.

With a blissful beachfront location on Ibiza’s top party beach, Playa d’en Bossa, this island outpost of the famous hotel brand may have suites and facilities for families. Not including the Children of the 80s Friday night rave, of course – but the sexiest way to stay is booking the rooftop, design-led Rock Star Suite. Private entrance, tick. Sea-facing terrace with spa tub, tick. Round bed in a glass-walled bedroom, tick. Elsewhere, swim in multiple fresh-water pools, soak up the kitsch rock star theme while high rollers can book possibly the most expensive meal in the world at Paco Roncero’s Sublimotion – if you can find the hidden entrance. Best have a more traditional eggy breakfast that morning, just in case.

Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel

Ushuaïa is an adults-only A-list hangout, thanks to the Playa d’en Bossa location and DJ back catalogue spinning until dawn. The pool is the star of the show here, flanked by wooden decking, lofty palms and Balinese day beds. Mirroring the White Isle’s moniker, the hotel interiors are all-white. Rooms divide into Tower and Club, but if you can DJ, you’ll be in the Pioneer DJ Suite – a sexy affair complete with mixer and stereo system, a see-through glass bath, wine fridge and silky bed coverings. Dine well in multiple restaurants representing multiple nationalities: from fresh oysters served on a bed of ice to buffalo mozzarella-filled focaccia. It would be easy to stay quaffing cocktails and tapas by the stage but Ibiza Town is a 15-minute drive away, so check out the culture around the old quarter above the harbour with a pretty cathedral and fortifications.

Hacienda Na Xamena

Independent Hotel

Built into the side of a cliff – nestled in a thick pine forest – Ibiza’s first five-star hotel is all about the location. To the northwest of the island, just 10 minutes from the pretty little village of Sant Miquel, there’s plenty of beaches to bronze on. Then again, lovers of hotel life may well stay put in the Na Xamena suite – the largest, most luxurious and tucked away suite, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a jacuzzi and hammam plus a terrace with sunbeds and a mini-pool. The decor throughout is mainly white or pale grey with wood pieces to add warmth. If you can, venture out to mingle and graze all day by the pool on tapas dishes such as Iberian ham, coca bread, local juicy tomatoes and rich olive oil.

Ca Na Xica

Boutique Hotel

Rooms at this secluded converted Finca – a 20-minute drive from Ibiza town between rural San Miguel and Santa Gertrudis – are in the main villa but contemporary, boxy suites sit like sugar cubes in the sun-kissed grounds with cactus gardens visible through bedroom windows. This is Ibiza chic at its best – cream, white and softest brown light-filled shades are layered to great effect. Wishbone chairs and cuboid sofas provide spots for gazing at the dreamy olive groves beyond your patio. Even the bathrooms open out onto the bamboo-and-fern-filled courtyard. Premier Plus Suites sleep four and come with a complimentary massage. Add an olive oil, Ibizan salt and lemon scrub to remind you of the tasty tapas available at the open-air restaurant. Dip in the pool or bronze on the mand-made beach – it’s all easy here.

Hotel ME Ibiza

An espadrille’s throw from Santa Eulalia on the island’s east coast – and a 30-minute cab ride from the Old Town –this L-shaped beachfront beauty offers DJs playing poolside and a party vibe away from the numbers. Upgrade to the all-white three-bed Suite ME and you’ll get your own ME motorboat for giddy day trips with a skipper to nip you across to Formentera – if you can tear yourself away from the sizeable slice of the pool on your decked terrace. Sit up on the beachy rooftop to enjoy the pool and restaurant – and dine on cooling tuna tartare with avocado in the island heat.

With stripped wooden yacht flooring, polished stainless steel panels and a scattering of handpicked local sculptures and vintage photographs, every room at this high-end boutique hotel is pretty damn sexy. But check into one of their suites for a real treat – with luxury toiletries, Bluetooth speakers and even saucy goodie bags to spice things up. Go the whole hog and request one of the suites with a sexy circular bed.

Aguas de Ibiza

Eco Hotel, Spa Hotel

Natural stone and crisp Balearic whites combine with sleek, contemporary styling and a super-chill vibe to make eco-friendly Aguas de Ibiza one of the island’s luxury favourites. The 112 guest rooms are Feng-Shui-designed with swish minimalist woods and floor-to-ceiling windows, but it’s the Cloud 9 Corner Suites that really shine. And as you’d expect with a name like that, they feature spectacular panoramic views of the sea and the bay of Santa Eulalia, plus a spacious terrace with a circular bathtub – perfect for a nightly alfresco soak with your partner. Superb panoramas can also be enjoyed from the rooftop pool, plus there’s a huge deluxe spa and Michelin-starred dining to seal the deal.
