An authentic Serbian restaurant just a short stroll from Partisan Square, Naša Kuća (‘Our House’) is a head above most of its contemporaries in town. With plenty of room across a couple of floors, this spot offers traditional Serbian cuisine with plenty of the Užice humour that is so revered throughout the region. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, although carnivores will invariably have more choices than herbivores.

2. Vagone Ristorante

A location alongside the Đetinja certainly helps, but the quality of the authentic Serbian cuisine and the subtle hum of traditional music means this would be a popular spot no matter where it was found.
