Gostevaya Izba

With its atmosphere of an eighteenth century Russian inn, Gostevaya Izba is arguably the best place to eat authentic Russian food in Sergiyev Posad. You won’t see the likes of Caesar salad on the menu, but instead you’ll get a chance to try real Russian dishes, like lamb steak with wheat kasha, Ukha fish soup, and hand-made pelmeni, as well as traditional Russian drinks and desserts.
