Rostov-on-Don is famous for its passion for sport and friendly atmosphere, and downtown is littered with places to watch a game. We’ve prepared a list of the best bars to watch the 2018 World Cup in Rostov-on-Don.

1. Bukowski

Gastropub, European

Named after the one and only Charles Bukowski, this well-designed and contemporary gastropub has a lot to offer. Bukowski’s food menu is full of fish and meat dishes, and you’ll find everything from Amstel to Guinness on the drinks menu. Just remember to book a table in advance as the venue is teeming with sports fans on match days.

2. Maximilian

Pub, Restaurant, German, European

If you’re a sports fan, then Maximilian is the bar for you. Maximilian screens everything from football and ice hockey to tennis and snowboarding. The excellent beer menu has options from all over the world, with a particular focus on Bavarian. There is a vast choice of delicious snacks, Bavarian fish and meat courses, hot dogs and burgers, wine and cocktails, and much more.

3. Beer Library

Bar, Russian, European

This place is all about craft beer and creative people. It is a modern venue in the downtown area, with a chilled atmosphere, comfortable seats and enormous screens for matches. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The menu is changed in accordance with the season, with all the products delivered daily from local farms. Beer Library is viewed as one of the best bars in Rostov-on-Don.

4. Pinta

Pub, British

You can catch every major sports event on a huge screen at Pinta. The venue is a typical British pub, which makes it extra special in Rostov-on-Don. There is a delicious range of dishes on the bar menu, not to mention all the alcoholic beverages you fancy. All the major sports events are screened here daily.

5. Pirs

Restaurant, Asian

Although Pirs is more of a restaurant than a bar, you can still enjoy the World Cup here on the venue’s big screens and projectors. An Uzbek restaurant, chefs Alisher Nematov and Anton Kochura are internationally renowned. We highly recommend you go there early or call in advance to book a table.
