Modern Sochi is a trendy place, and it’s home to some of the tastiest Italian venues outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. But with many delicious restaurants to choose from, finding the very best place is a difficult task. Here is our list of the top Italian restaurants that the Sochi region has to offer.

1. Adriano

Restaurant, Italian, Fast Food

Everything you ever wanted from a typical Italian restaurant abroad is right here at Adriano, including excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, classic courses and an Italian wines cart. This traditional restaurant-pizzeria offers you a vast choice of delectable Italian cuisine. The menu follows a tried-and-true Italian formula: a selection of authentic dishes supplemented by regular specials, such as homemade ravioli, pasta and tiramisu. Un caffe per favore e grazie!

2. Mare D’Amore

Restaurant, Italian, Seafood, Mediterranean, Dessert

Mare D’Amore is a traditional Italian restaurant and probably the most romantic venue in Adler, complete with a seaside view. The menu has an excellent selection of antipasti, first and second plates and, of course, desserts along with wines. There’s a broad range of pizzas on offer as well as seasonal vegetable dishes along with homemade pasta and tagliatelle. Don’t forget to complete your dining experience with gelato!

3. Royal Fish

Restaurant, Italian, Seafood, Vegan, Vegetarian, European, Russian

Expect a comprehensive reserve list at Royal Fish, with wines hailing from both local and other European wineries. The menu changes with the seasons and offers an array of unique options, including a large selection of fish recipes. This fine-dining venue provides guests with authentic Italian and Southern Russian cuisine mixed with Mediterranean flavours and exemplary service. It’s a restaurant and experience you won’t soon forget.

4. Parmesan

Restaurant, Italian

Locals and owners refer to Parmesan as a ‘pasta bar’. Here, all the Italian classics are given an elegant twist: gnocchi with basilico, carbonara with housemade sauce and micro herbs, cotoletta alla Milanese, spaghetti alla chitarra and pannacotta dalla nonna. The venue even puts a playful spin on their tiramisu by layering coffee jelly under the chocolate biscuit, mascarpone and a frothy crown of whipped cream.

5. Cafe Del Mar

Restaurant, Cafe, Italian, Tea , Vegetarian

The trendy Cafe Del Mar has been welcoming visitors since 2008. From the pappardelle to the bistecca Fiorentina to the tiramisu, every dish is excellent and made with the highest quality of ingredients. You can also book a place on the beach, and for those guests craving something other than Italian cuisine, they also offer sushi. It’s best to book in advance, as the terrace with a view is usually full.
