Walking down the streets of St Petersburg, people will see many unconventional outfits. People here don’t necessarily seek out certain brands or trends; they would rather create their own unique style. The city has many streetwear boutiques that feature local designers, one-of-a-kind outfits and many recommendations from in-house stylists.

Unique Fabric

Store

Unique Fabric is an elegant shop with a lovely women’s collection. Simplicity is key here, so many of the clothes are a single colour; however, there are a number of accessories to spice up your outfit. They carry several Korean brands, which are impossible to find elsewhere in St Petersburg. On the other hand, well-known brands, such as Levi’s and Vagabond are presented in the showroom and paired with lesser-known independent designer outfits.

Hopeshop

Store

Hopeshop is a local favourite. Here you can find a mix of Russian and foreign brands. From shoes to accessories, they carry a variety of stylish items and skilfully pair them in their lookbooks. On top of the excellent collection, the shop assistants are friendly and always ready to offer some keen fashion advice.

Monday to Sunday, 11:30 am–9:30 pm

Voyage! Voyage!

Voyage! Voyage! is another stylish outlet, complete with a customised shopping experience. The designer dresses you can find here combine country-style floral patterns with leather belts and heavy boots – an unlikely, but effective combo. Keep an eye out for Chereshnya dresses; whilst they can be on the pricey side, most of them are one of a kind and a worthy investment for a fashion junkie.

Monday to Sunday, 10:30 am–10:00 pm

Mint

Mint specialises in men’s fashion and brings together a collection of not only smart-casual but also practical outfits. Here you can find Scandinavian brands such as Han Kjøbenhavn and Our Legacy, as well as useful winter coats from Spiewak (always go for the warmest option in the Russian winter). Other recognisable brands include Red Wing Shoes and Eastpak backpacks.

Monday to Sunday, 11:00 am–10:00 pm

FAB Store

Store

FAB Store is one of the longest-running streetwear shops in St Petersburg. There are over 20 brands presented here, mostly foreign brands that are hard to find in other places. Some brands, such as Drop Dead, Iron First, and Cheap Monday, appeared in this shop for the first time in the city. They are still a favourite for a great selection of Converse, Dr. Martens and Harley-Davidson.

Monday to Sunday, 12:00 pm–9:00 pm

Marmeladova

As the brand’s aim states, these are dresses for the ‘cultured ladies’. The designs bring back the 1950s, with long skirts and floral patterns, yet they are not outdated. In fact, most Marmeladova dresses will fit right in when going for a street look and will be just as great as an evening outfit. The brand’s popularity only goes to prove that traditional designs are very much alive.

Monday to Sunday, 10:00 am–10:00 pm

Lyyk Store

Store

There’s a mix of just about everything in Lyyk Store, but what’s certain is that it will be in style. The store has a daring approach to mixing and matching various clothes. Their choices are frequently updated, so there is always a reason to come back looking for more. Check it out for shoes and stand-out accessories.
