This luxurious Chinese restaurant, located in the heart of St Petersburg, is a franchise of a famous Swiss restaurant in Geneva. It has been successfully operating under the same name for over a decade. Tse Fung offers a colourful variety of Chinese dishes and is one of the few venues in St Petersburg where you can enjoy the famous Peking duck recipe. The traditional dish is carefully prepared following the many guidelines that take several days to complete, and it is one of the most expensive items on the menu.

2. China Gramota

China Gramota represents authentic Cantonese cuisine. The chef of the restaurant, Zhang Xianchen, has modernized the classics of Chinese cuisine while fully preserving its authenticity. Located in one of the tallest buildings in St Petersburg’s city center, it serves not just an exquisite selection of dishes, but it also has a great view.

This restaurant has been operating for over 15 years, and the reason why people keep coming back is its extensive selection of memorable Chinese recipes. Most of the dishes are prepared following traditional recipes, although there are a few original creations. Restaurant Chin is located in the LenExpo complex on Vasilievsky Island as a part of the Russian-Chinese business park. The restaurant itself occupies 6,000 sq. meters (64,583 sq. feet) over four floors and can receive 1,000 guests at once. The chef of the restaurant is Wu Zumin, who came to St Petersburg with an entire crew and all the furniture for the restaurant. He has several restaurants in China, one of which is on China’s top 50 list. In St Petersburg, he helps guests explore ancient Chinese cuisine, especially Xian specialties.

7. Chufalnya

The famous Chufalnya is known for its extreme authenticity; Chinese cooks, Chinese owners, Chinese menu and all the products are Chinese, even the soy sauce on the table and the bottled juices. Needless to say, if you’re looking for a real Chinese dining experience, check out this place.
