1. Voda Bar

We highly recommend you to check their Instagram account and Google Maps before you go, but once you’re there, you’re guaranteed to have a lot of fun a la Russe with locals only.

If you’re looking for something unusual that only locals know about, something you cannot book online or over the phone, then look no further than Public Bar. It’s located in the historical centre of Moscow, in an old Stalinist building. There’s a great cocktail and wine list.

This typical Israeli bar is a real gem in the heart of town. Locals like to grab a drink here from Wednesday. Great cocktails are accompanied by authentic Israeli flavours and traditional snacks. We highly recommend you to visit on a Thursday evening.

5. Veladora

This Mexican bar and tacos spot just opened its doors last week, and it has already become very popular with locals. It’s located in the historical part of the city, and offers a vast choice of traditional Mexican drinks, cocktails, beers, nachos, tacos and more. Good music and neon decorations create a special atmosphere for a relaxed evening with tequila and salt.

6. Berlin Bar

Locals call this place “The nightlife Embassy of Berlin in Moscow”. Inspired by the German minimalist techno scene, the design of this bar is reminiscent of the best techno spots of the Kreuzberg and Mitte neighbourhoods of Berlin.
