German-born chef Willie Wuger has crafted a mouthwatering selection of dishes, with house favourites including his seafood ravioli in a vermouth cream sauce and the rack of lamb with thyme jus and gratin dauphinoise.

Snag a table on the balcony or by the window at this slick first-floor eatery, as it boasts some of the best views in town over the verdant golf course beyond. Located inside the upscale Anantara hotel, this restaurant has a thoroughly modern feel with contemporary furnishings and dishes that look like works of art. The veal tartare, Rossini beef with potato truffle puree and melt-in-the-mouth, salted caramel-infused creme brulée are among the highlights. On the drinks front, there’s an extensive list to choose from and in 2019, Emo was included in the Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards.

There’s a salivating spread of menu items to choose from, with the Portuguese steak, scallops and pan-fried pizza being some of the top choices. Along with great food and atmosphere, the spacious garden area makes this one of the most popular spots in town, with DJs spinning and cocktails flowing in the runup to sunset.

One of the more unusual menu items is a squid burger with the bun made with black squid ink, while the moreish, traditional apple tart is recommended as a top way to finish.
