Kraków is one of Poland‘s most popular tourist destinations and as such has a diverse culinary scene. The city has blossomed in recent years, especially in regards to new and trendy restaurants opening. On top of the best Polish cuisine, Italian restaurants, Tapas bars and Irish pubs, there are some truly special burger joints and steakhouses. Here are some of the top spots to chow down on a burger in this classic Polish city.

1. Moaburger

Moaburger is famous for its giant burgers. Great home-made buns and dipping sauces, fresh burger toppings and a large selection of beef, lamb, chicken and veggie burgers all contribute to one of the best burger experiences in Kraków. Some of the burgers also have very unusual fillings, such as The King of Rock And Roll, which, apart from the usual ingredients, includes peanut butter, banana and blackcurrant jam. The venue is also licensed and as such sells cold Polish beers to wash down your burger with.

2. Bobby Burger

Situated in Kraków’s Old Town, Bobby Burger is part of a popular chain of top-notch, stylish burger joints to hit Poland. It is a great place to stop off during a sightseeing tour, as it offers a special lunch deal. The options for compiling your own burger are also extensive, including veggie patties and gluten-free buns. Some other dishes on the menu that reflect the American spirit of the establishment include chili cheese fries, mac ‘n’ cheese and milkshakes. Try the Double Death by Cheese burger for a mouthwatering feed.

3. Corner Burger

This burger house is a must-visit for all Pulp Fiction fans, since its interior is decorated with quirky pop art posters depicting the characters of the movie. Centrally located, Corner Burger boasts a good variety of big burgers with tasty fillings, along with fries and shakes to accompany them. Some favorites include The Boss and Massive Beef Attack, all at some pretty decent prices.

4. Antler Poutine Burger

Antler is a Canadian-themed restaurant that, apart from the delicious burgers, specializes in poutine, a Canadian dish made with French fries and cheese curds topped with a gravy-like sauce. The two main foods of the restaurant are brought together in the glorious Quebec burger with poutine filling. Antler does a variety of burgers with different fillings, from classic to adventurous, all named after Canadian cities. Try the Toronto burger with pickled pear or the Edmonton with smoked cheese and cranberries.

5. Moo Moo Steak and Burger Club

A must-visit for all meat lovers coming to Kraków, Moo Moo boasts a lovely atmosphere, a very attentive and friendly staff and delicious burgers and steaks. The interior is very modern but at the same time elegant and romantic with black-and-white glass vases holding white flowers on the tables. The food is prepared and served with the highest attention to detail, from fresh ingredients to elegant representation on plates or wooden chopping boards.
