Shopping centres all over Poland have started to provide free Wi-Fi, and the pick of Gdańsk’s swanky new malls are no exception. Galeria Madison is located quite centrally and has five floors of shopping. The top floor has bars and restaurants on it, and the other floors are mostly about clothes, jewellery, books and electronics. There is free Wi-Fi throughout.

The impressive Stadion Energa is the home football stadium of the city’s football team, Lechia Gdańsk. It is an immense stadium that has also hosted the Polish national team on several occasions. The Gdańsk suburb of Przymorze has another modern shopping mall known as Galeria Przymorze. This is in the famous district where Europe’s largest residential building sits. So be aware that while the shopping centre has free Wi-Fi, it might be busy and slow, but at least you can get online.

The famous Hala Targowa market has been running since the 13th century. The building has been reconstructed several times and is now a wonderful piece of architecture in the Old Town of Gdańsk. The up and coming district of Wrzeszcz contains one of Tri-City’s largest shopping centres by area – Galeria Bałtycka. Inside this mall there is also free Wi-Fi. The shopping centre has numerous cafes and restaurants as well as the usual clothes shops, electronic shops and jewellery stores. Galeria Baltycka is open from Monday – Saturday 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. and are selected Sundays until the end of 2018.
