A music video by Norwegian singer Sophie Elise has been targeted by racist and sexist abuse.

‘All Your Friends’ has been attacked by trolls on YouTube because it features a black romantic interest, while others have criticised her over the provocative lyrics ‘I’m going to fuck all your friends’.

The most extreme comments have blasted the former reality star, calling her a ‘degenerate’ and accusing her of ‘bestiality’.

But others have called on users to ‘not let racism win’ by reporting offensive comments.

Some took to Twitter to express their shock over the abuse Elise was receiving.

Elise has now disabled comments on the video and posted a passionate defence of it on Instagram.

She said: ‘What I’m going to write now is going to be tough. The love I’ve felt in the last 24 hours has been enormous, but hate almost even bigger. Exclusively because I chose to use a man with a darker skin colour than me in the music video.’

She asked fans to ‘see people for people’ rather than the colour of their skin.

The singer added: ‘The commentary has been a hell from another world. I was awake all night with a huge shock, and not least with a guilty feeling that has “created” an arena where such hatred can see the light of day.’
