Le Rouge brasserie and café is a lovely French-themed restaurant situated in the heart of Kaunas. The menu includes a few truly French brunch options. These include the classic onion soup or the scrumptious chicken liver pâté served with a fresh baguette and blue onion jam. The cafe is cozy and elegantly decorated with some black-and-white photographs on the walls and French music playing in the background. During the warmer months, it also opens a lovely terrace outside. This is perfect for watching passers-by and admiring the historic beauty of the city’s Old Town.

The bakery also has some very interesting pastry options, such as potato bread buns. Meanwhile, loyal patrons swear their cakes are to die for.

This sophisticated restaurant, located on the ground floor of the Park Inn Hotel in Kaunas, is a perfect place for a hearty breakfast or a sumptuous lunch buffet. For early risers, it even offers the option to have an express breakfast starting at 4.30am. Diverso has exceptionally good food for decent prices and very friendly staff who are always happy to help. The restaurant’s interior is quite luxurious-looking, with glass walls and gold-and-white themed decor. Every dish is made to resemble a piece of art and the overall impression is that of a very expensive joint.
