It may not be as instantly recognisable as Lake Garda or Como, but Lake Iseo is one of Italy’s most spectacular lakes. The glossy stretch of water is surrounded by mountains, with one in the middle of the lake itself, while this fairytale-pretty region offers hiking, picture-book hilltop villages, wineries, a small beach and even a medieval castle. Explore its many wonders at your own pace by checking into one of our favourite hotels close to Lake Iseo, bookable on Culture Trip.
