U2 have dropped their latest single ‘You’re the Best Thing About Me’.

The new track is the second song to be taken from the Irish rockers long-awaited album Songs of Experience.

It comes a week after the band released ‘The Blackout’ – the first single from the forthcoming LP.

The new single features a sleeve image of The Edge’s daughter Sian Evans taken by celebrated photographer Anton Corbijn.

Songs of Experience, which is rumoured to be coming out in December, is a follow-up to 2014’s Songs Of Innocence.

Frontman Bono spoke to Rolling Stone earlier this year about the album: ‘The problem is we have 15 songs and to get them down to 12.

‘We don’t like long players. The actual track listing is not set yet, but we have some proper, proper fuck-off songs.’

U2 recently performed Oasis’ song ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ with Noel Gallagher during their Joshua Tree anniversary tour.

The band previously released a video for ‘The Blackout’ after teasing fans by sending out cryptic letters to them.
