Stelios Koudounaris
Fashion for Cyprus-born Stelios Koudounaris was a natural career choice, as his family owned a fashion business. When he finished his studies in Fashion Design and Garment Manufacturing, he made the move many have made before and came to Athens, and worked as a fashion designer and stylist for some leading Greek brands. As soon as he started designing his own collection, he acquired a certain status in the fashion system for his way of mixing rock elements with a distinguished sense of elegance. His collections – exclusively manufactured in Greece – have been featured in Madame Figaro and Vogue and are available at many selling points worldwide.

Valia Kastrouny
Winner of the Fashion Design Project contest organized by the 18th Athens Xclusive Designers Week, Valia Kastrouny has always used fashion to express herself. In the course of her studies in photography and audiovisual arts, she found herself spending a semester doing fashion design in Italy. During her first catwalk, her youthful and flirty designs caught the word’s attention and allowed her to gain broader recognition.

Fotini Lagaki
Born and raised in Athens, Fotini Lagaki specialized in textile design after studying interior design and architecture at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. But she didn’t stop there; she also enrolled in freehand drawing and fashion design at the Sorbonne School of Fashion, and at Central Saint Martins in London. All this background, combined with a love for geometry, make up the universe she shares through her designs and brand, Fotini Lgk.

Joy Koumentakou
Joy Koumentakou is one of the few designers who started off in a totally different field, but her love for fashion had the last word. Holding a Master of Business Administration in Strategy, Koumentakou started working for advertising and multinational companies, until in 2007 she established her own advertising agency. She eventually started designing handbags, labelled madebyJK. She quickly gained exposure in the fashion world and presented her first capsule collection in 2014. She was even awarded Best Trendsetter at the 18th AXDW. Colorful and vibrant, Koumentakou’s designs are the epitome of youthful bliss.

Kozani-born Maro Martzy studied industrial design but quickly switched to fashion and received a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from Middlesex University. Tamara Ghavtadze
