Located just outside Paris (close to Versailles), the Cueillette de Viltain offers acres of flowers, fruit and vegetables, along with an adjoining market selling the freshest dairy and cheese you’ll find anywhere. July sees garlic, aubergines, courgettes, tomatoes, strawberries and raspberries come into season, but available produce is seasonal, and the farm is open through November. Pro tip: pick up some fresh cheese and a bottle of fresh pear cider at the market, and picnic on your pickings on the lawn outside.
