Nestled in the southern suburbs of Paris, according to the Louvre, the castle at Arcueil had its golden age in the late 18th century. Today, not much exists of the original château, so the curious have to rely on the work of artists in order to know what life was like at the castle in the late 1700s. The beautiful drawings displayed at this exhibition allow the viewer to be transported back to a time when the château thrived. The works of four French artists are brought together in an exhibit that is dedicated to the elegance and beauty that once existed at the castle and its gardens.
