If you are looking for an authentic Nordic place where you can chat with your friends and enjoy a glass of beer, then Panimoravintola Koulu is perfect place for you. It is a former school, and many parts of the school have been turned into a bar environment. This bar is well furnished with wooden decorations and furniture, giving you a glimpse of Nordic interior design. This bar only serves their own brews, which means that there may be some creative brews from time to time.

Aussie Bar

Enjoy an evening on River Aura

Aussie Bar is a very popular option for a night out for both locals and tourists. It is located in a boat on River Aura, which gives you very close contact with the picturesque river. The boat has three levels and on Friday and Saturday, they open their spacious hull for one of the coolest dance floors in Turku. There are also some really spectacular dishes offered in this bar, including burgers, salads and pizza, and everyday – including weekends! – they offer lunch for only 10 Euros.

The bar is filled with an elegant ambience, however it can also be transformed into a massive concert venue. In fact, Klubi is partly owned by a local record label and this explains why the standard of music played in the bar is always high. There are a number of sections in the bar, which cater to the different needs of their guests.
