The historic city of Copenhagen, Denmark has a lot to offer in terms of food, especially vegetarian food, boasting many popular raw bars. The Culture Trip brings you a list of the top vegetarian establishments in the city.

Bio Mio

Located in an old automobile shop with the word Bosch written overhead, this restaurant, situated in the meatpacking district of Vesterbro, is a hip place to go. The restaurant has an open kitchen and high wooden tables and chairs, and the menu consists of only organic ingredients and is vegan and vegetarian friendly, while still providing a few meat dishes to those who want them.

42Raw

This raw bar offers food in its most natural state, with nearly everything on the menu being served completely raw, and the rest heated in a dehydration vacuum at a maximum of 42 degrees. The menu includes items such as muesli, thai noodles and risotto, as well as a wide variety of juices.

Botaniq

Botaniq is a completely vegan restaurant that offers vegetarian brunches, snacks and regular meals. All the food is organic and, if desired, can be ordered raw, as a way to preserve the nutrients. This restaurant also offers a selection of organic cocktails and wine that can be ordered even after the kitchen is closed. Botaniq is entirely sustainable, so all the food is ordered on a tablet, meaning no wasted paper.

Morgenstedet

Located in a small white house, this cafe is simple and unpretentious, and upon entry it offers a cozy, intimate place to enjoy a delicious meal. All of the food is vegetarian and made from organic ingredients. The menu includes hearty items such as tofu mushroom fry and bean pottage, as well as hummus and an extensive list of herbal teas.

SimpleRAW

SimpleRAW uses raw ingredients without preservatives or additives, and seeks to provide a well-balanced meal to all of their customers. In doing so, this restaurant also works with the customers to avoid allergies, so that everyone can enjoy their yogurt, dips, salads and wraps.
