In the winter, the restaurant offers candlelit dinners every Thursday night, and in July there is jazz on the terrace every Sunday. M/S Sagafjord

Built in the 1950s, M/S Sagafjord is an old fashioned ferry, that is docked at the Viking Ship Museum. During dinner service, the ship leaves the harbour and sets sail on the Roskilde Fjord, so that passengers can revel in the view of the town and the fjord while simultaneously enjoying a delicious meal. The ship is great for large parties and the food is brought out in pots and pans, and made to be shared with the table.

Ostens Perle is a Thai restaurant located near the Roskilde Train Station. Customers have a choice between five fixed price menus (that can be shared with a minimum of two people) or a la carte (which features dishes such as tempura, an extensive list of curries and pad thai). Situated in City Park, Pipers Hus is located in the greenest part of town while simultaneously offering customers the opportunity to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or cake as they look over the fjord. The menu includes items like roast beef, sautéed fish, and Danish meatballs, as well as several other traditional Danish dishes which are all served by friendly and helpful staff.
