Sortebro Kro

Located in Funen Village (a living village and museum), this restaurant is situated in a building from the 1800s. It overlooks the village meadow and exudes the scent of firewood from its chimneys, creating a romantic atmosphere. Guests are served by passionate, knowledgeable staff, and the menu includes items such as fried herring, soft boiled eggs, fresh bread and locally brewed beer.

Under Lindetræet

Situated in a building constructed in 1771 which is right across from the Hans Christian Anderson House, Under Lindetræet is a wonderful place to grab a late lunch or early dinner after visiting the museum and before visiting the beautiful Funen Village. The staff are hospitable and quick to offer assistance, the tables are beautifully laid out, and they provide fresh bread every day.

Den Gamle Kro

This building, constructed in 1683 and with a gorgeous half-timbered ceiling, now houses Den Gamle Kro, a French-inspired Danish restaurant.
