March To The Sounds Of The Sonian Woods

The Forêt de Soignes (Sonian woods) – nicknamed ‘the green lung’ of Brussels – is a treasured beech forest ideal for escaping the hectic goings on of the metropole.

Add to that a musically themed walk and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a relaxing Sunday afternoon with the family. Artists from all over the world will scatter themselves in between the dense trees and grand clearings, surprising hikers who walk by with their acoustic tunes. The idea has proven a smash hit with tourists as well as native Brusseleirs wanting to discover their city from a whole other point of view. Different routes varying from 5 to 25 kilometres make sure everyone can take part, out-of-shape city folk and seasoned hikers alike.

24 April, 8am-3pm and music in between 1pm-5pm

Starting point: GC Wabo, Deleurlaan 39-43, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort
