This Artist Will Draw Anything His Followers Ask Him To – Literally Anything

Similar to how a DJ might take song requests, this artist gives his social media followers the power to dictate his illustrations, and he will draw absolutely anything!

Belarusian comic artist Chilik takes his connection with his social media followers to the next level, allowing them to literally tell him what to draw. His fans send him messages via Twitter and Instagram with things they’d like to see drawn and he creates them in his fun-loving, dark-humoured style.

He then posts his creations along with the original request so everyone can see the idea in both its word and art form.

The requests currently range from popular films and TV shows (‘Draw Darth Vader fishing’), to strange, hybrid creatures (‘Draw a walrus-unicorn’), wordplay (‘Draw pernicious haste’) and the completely random (‘Draw an anxiety of Comrade Stalin’) – but the possibilities are endless, seeing as the subject matter can come from anyone in the world.

This fun and friendly concept gives everyone the unique opportunity to be involved in the artistic process. It also makes Chilik’s work both approachable and interactive, which are two words not commonly associated with the art world.

We look forward to seeing what the innovative artist does next!
