To get under the skin of Vienna, stay in one of these top B&Bs. They’re often cheaper than hotels, with the added bonus of being family-run, so you’ll get all the insider tips. Read on to discover our guide to Vienna’s best bed and breakfasts, bookable with Culture Trip.

Classical music fans flock to the Austrian capital for the Vienna State Opera House, while others come to cosy up with a chocolatey slice of sachertorte in a Viennese coffeehouse before exploring the baroque Schönbrunn Palace or St Stephen’s Cathedral. During the summer, Vienna comes alive with outdoor music concerts and picnics held on the edge of the Danube. And as winter draws in, snowfall covers the city and traditional Christmas markets fill pretty plazas.
