The Pianino is a bar and restaurant with a simple yet trendy decor featuring attractive wooden furniture. The bar serves a wide variety of drinks and their wine list is excellent, while the restaurant offers a quality menu with international influences. They also have a book corner for anyone wanting to read and relax a little bit while enjoying a glass of wine. Pianino is a veritable hotspot with a sociable atmosphere in which a lively crowd mingles.

2. Josef Linz

A traditional German-Austrian brew pub, the Josef Linz is the perfect spot to pop in for a drink after dinner. The ambiance is relaxing and they play good music whilst serving great cocktails. They also serve some creative Austrian dishes you might want to order if you haven’t yet had dinner. It’s not hard to get a table here, even if it’s in a popular area of town, since the bar is spacious. This is a great place for large groups.

Divino

Divino is a wonderful Spanish vinoteca in the heart of Linz which offers more than 200 different types of wines to choose from. The place is tastefully decorated, the red walls create a warm atmosphere and flamenco music is always playing in the background. Divino will make you feel like you’re in Madrid instead of Linz. Come and enjoy a glass of Spanish wine and some tapas for an enjoyable night out.

4. Chelsea Pub

5. Paul's Kuche & Bar

A lovely place to come for a bite and some beers or other drinks, Paul’s Kuche & Bar offers an elegant setting and well presented dishes. 6. Jam's Bar Lounge

Jam’s features live Jazz music every Wednesday night, which makes it a cool place to check out if you feel like going out for a drink during the week. The bar is beautifully decorated, combining white leather furniture with dark woods. Opened in 2009, the bar brought a new alternative to Linz’s bar scene promoting quaity music, tasty drinks and good conversation.

7. Thüsen Tak

This is a pure and authentic rock’n roll place, with loud music and walls covered in posters of Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and Deep Purple. In Thüsen Tak you can enjoy your beer while you talk to the owner. Opened in 1980, this original rock bar is a must-visit for any fans of the music genre. Here you can also support young aspiring musicians by buying some gifts at the shop.

Skygarden

This pink-walled bar is a cool spot to have a good conversation over Italian, Austrian and French wines. They also specialize in cocktails and elegant antipasti, which go very well with a glass of your favorite beverage. The modern bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere at the Skygarden becomes more upbeat in the evening, perfect for a classy night out.
