This Map Shows You Every Single Weird Place You Can Visit in the World

Anyone who visits Atlas Obscura knows one thing – they specialise in the weird, the wonderful and the downright crazy. That’s why they’ve spent the last eight years (woof) plotting the most culturally curious spots in the world.

Point of the map? Not too long ago the much-loved website passed a noteworthy milestone by reviewing a whopping 10,000 sites on The Atlas.
To celebrate, the guys and gals who work at the website plonked all the 10,000 attractions onto one map – locations and descriptions included for us savvy travellers. Essentially, the map beats every single guidebook hands down, and you can even use it on your mobile too. SCORE!

So what kind of weird stuff is on the map? The Museum of Celebrity Leftovers in England (yes, you read that correctly), an abandoned ghost village in France, a Spacecraft Cemetery in New Zealand, the Tree Goats of Morocco – you get the gist, right?
From Madagascar to England, the USA to Iceland and beyond, there are loads of quirky attractions to fuel your wanderlust for oodles of years to come.
