If so, You’ve come to the right place: Culture Trip has created thoughtfully selected small-group tours for all traveller types – from budding explorers to serial globetrotters.

On our city break trips, our Local Insiders share their knowledge, as they reveal the true flavour of their home turf – from the people to the food to the culture. Here’s a taste of what you can expect.

Classic Northern Italy by Train

Why stick to just one city when you can explore a hatful of Italy’s most famous northern powerhouses in one go? This nine-day Rail Trip starts in Rome, where you can bask in its ancient wonder, before moving onto the Renaissance in Florence. From there we’ll take a detour to Siena and a nearby farm and winery, before getting back on track to Bologna, the foodie capital. Earning that title in Italy is no mean feat, so we’ll go on a gourmet food tour to show you exactly what the fuss is all about. Another rural road trip continues the gastronomic theme with a stop in Parma, before we head to our final destination, the ever-fashionable, fiery city of Milan.

Berlin to Budapest: The Best of Central Europe by Train

We continue the Euro city-hopping theme with this border-crossing Rail Trip across Central Europe. Everyone dreams of a summer exploring Europe’s most beautiful fairytale cities, right? Well, we’ve condensed it into ten charming days, starting in the German capital. Having gotten to know Berlin’s complex history and thriving cultural scenes, we’ll hop onboard a train to Prague, one of Europe’s most photogenic capitals. Snap away at Prague Castle and Charles Bridge before visiting a local Czech brewery for some of the best beer on the planet, before we continue our journey to Vienna. The Austrian capital is as sophisticated as it is storied, and a slice of Sachertorte (chocolate cake) is an absolute must. Next stop is the criminally underrated Bratislava, with its ancient churches and beautiful Old Town alleyways, before we reach our final destination – Budapest. We’ll snack at local food markets, stroll along the Danube and soak in the city’s famous thermal baths before heading to a trendy ruin bar to cap off an incredible Euro adventure.
