Inside, you’ll find anything from simple doubles overlooking the river right up to family-sized suites, all of which feature mountain views. Customised ski packages (for a minimum of two nights) include half-board, Grandvalira passes and tickets to the largest thermal bath complex in Europe, situated a 20-minute drive away. While it’s a five-minute walk to the ski lift, you can cruise on skis straight back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Accommodation ranges from minimalist mixed dorms – sleeping up to six – to a handful of private rooms. Once the white stuff arrives, the hotel arranges everything from gear rental and free slope transfers to snow biking. Inside, units sleep up to four adults, featuring decently equipped kitchens. Although, during the high season, the onsite restaurant serves crowd-pleasing dishes such as pizza and steak.
