The Most Incredible Places to Get Married in Central America

Destination weddings are very “in” these days and Central America is an incredible region to explore when looking for the perfect wedding venue and vacation. There are countless beach, mountain, rainforest, and island destinations across Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Belize, Honduras, and Mexico that are relatively easy to get to and capable of accommodating a wedding.

Los Cabos, Mexico

Los Cabos is located on the southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. This dreamy desert destination is ideal for the beach-, taco-, and tequila-loving couple who wants a turquoise ocean backdrop for the special day. There are many different types of accommodations there ranging from cute boutique hotels to luxury resorts.

Riviera Maya, Mexico

Roatán, Honduras

Roatán is part of Honduras’s Bay Islands in the Caribbean, which is also part of an expansive barrier reef. This Caribbean island is famous for its exquisite diving, whale and shark populations, crystal clear waters, white sand beaches, and tropical accommodations. Ambergris Caye, Belize

Amergris Caye is Belize’s most treasured island and the largest and most developed of Belize’s 200 cayes. This gorgeous caye is home to an impressive selection of wedding-perfect hotels, a happening nightlife scene, world-class diving, and palm tree-lined beaches. Rancho Santana is a beautiful 2,700-acre residential and resort community on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.
