Located underground at Story Beach, The Rabbit Hole has taken Nha Trang’s nightlife to a whole new level. Step in through an underground garden tunnel that leads you inside to a visually spectacular Lewis Carroll-inspired Alice in Wonderland-esque venue, with subtle copper decoration, neon lights, wild costumes and some of the city’s best mixologists creating blends that will drive you as mad as a hatter. Known among locals and expats alike mostly for being a premium club, The Rabbit Hole hole is about more than just wild parties, and has a roster filled with mellow live jazz sessions from local artists every week before the DJs crank up the turntables. The venue is also dedicated to developing the Nha Trang music scene, having built its own recording studio inside for budding artists to produce music they are passionate about.

The Rooftop Lounge @havanhotel

The Rooftop Lounge has become one of the coolest places to meet people and hang out in town. Located on the 5th floor of the Ha Van Hotel, the cozy venue features both indoor and outdoor seating, with an awesome open-air terrace that overlooks the calm Nha Trang coast. The couches are comfortable enough to spend the evening sampling unique cocktails, eating delicious comfort food, and smoking some smooth shisha while listening to fantastic live tunes supplemented by the soft sound of the waves as they lap the shore. Live music happens every night (except Fridays) for two hours starting at 09:00 p.m., and don’t worry if you get too comfortable, as this place is open 24 hours!

Latin lovers (and others), you’re in luck — La Mancha will give you a little taste of home. Paella, sangria, steaks and seafood, combined with delicious cocktails, beer and fun, live salsa music every night from 07:00 pm until 11:00 p.m, this friendly Spanish gem has everything needed to bring out the hidden Latina in everyone. Get some liquid luck in you before you wiggle those hips about on the dance floor as you might have some serious competition. If dancing is not your thing, how about a Cuban cigar and chill? Don’t go here if you’re looking to have a conversation though, because the music can get loud! But if you’re tired of talking and need a good stress buster to unwind over the weekend, now you know where to go.

Booze Cruise Sports Bar and Grill

Booze Cruise Sports Bar and Grill has made a name for itself within the expat community of Nha Trang. If you’re worried about missing a game while travelling, this is the place to go. The burgers are juicy, pizza’s greasy, and the sandwiches are the perfect amount of thick with just the right layers, making this the perfect venue to let loose after the beach diet. The venue is so lively, that if you are not a sports fan, you will still unconsciously join in with the choruses of “woohoo!”s and “boooo”s. Live performances happen every Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm onwards where local artists play a range of styles, from popular mainstream tunes to indie rock and blues.

Located down the popular beach front avenue of Tran Phu, Louisiane Brewhouse is one of those rare venues that cater to all types of travelers. The summery bar opens to the beach and has a spacious interior with a pool surrounded by comfortable reclining chairs, making it a great place to spend the whole day. After 5 pm, the pool closes, and the evening lights turn up. Order yourself a beer tasting platter which includes four of their signature brews made inhouse for only 125,000 Vietnamese Dong ($5.50), some snacks, and watch as the live band serenades the sun as it sets over the horizon.
