Trendy Jewelry
Market
Khao San Road certainly has mixed reviews. Many backpackers vouch by it, claiming that this road provided them with some of the best of nights out while traveling in Thailand, while others steer as far clear from this tourist trap as possible. Regardless of your feelings towards this infamous road, every trendy backpacker needs to visit Thanon Khao San Market. Khao San Road is home to some of the cutest and most stylish accessories in Bangkok. From golden armbands to hippie-inspired crossbody bags, this market has it all. Practice your bartering skills here, as many of the vendors will try to take advantage of foreigners and jack up their prices.
Wallets, Handbags, And More
Market, Park
It may come as no surprise that Bangkok’s biggest and most famous market would have a plethora of accessories to choose from. There are plenty of vendors selling accessories and bags at Chatuchak Weekend Market — not all of them are created equal, however, and you should be wary of purchasing the first stylish bag you find. Some claim to be handmade and high quality when in reality they are mass produced and found at plenty of other vendors throughout the market. Sections 24 and 26 is where you will find bags handcrafted in the north of Thailand, which claim to have been handmade by hill-tribes in Isaan. You can also find Thai silk, jewelry, totes, wallets and backpacks here, including one of our favorite brands, Weekend Ki-Ki Thailand. To get here, take the BTS Skytrain to stop Mochit and take exits one or three. You can also take the MRT Subway to Chatuchak Park, exit one.
Stylish Glasses
Store
If you are looking for state of the art eyewear in Bangkok, look no further than Niche Nation. It is here where you will find many designer brands, such as Victoria Beckham, Moscot and Thom Browne. You can also receive a professional eye examination and have frames and lenses customized while you visit one of Niche Nation’s stores. Find Niche Nation off the BTS Skytrain station Thonglor and in Central Embassy off the Phloen Chit station. If designer brands are not your style, be sure to check out Lost & Found Store. If its name did not give it away, the Lost & Found Store is filled with vintage wears, including clothing from almost every era.
Vintage Handbags
At (Un)Fashion Vintage, everything you find, from shoes to bags to belts, is one of a kind. You never know what you are going to get at UnFashion, with imported items from the U.S. and Europe as well as items from Thailand. Many of the items are secondhand, although they do have bags and clothing that are new. There is also a café and restaurant attached to where all of the vintage finds are. It is open every day from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. To get here, take the BTS Skytrain to station Ekkamai and it is a short motorbike taxi from the train. http://instagram.com/p/BIhHGZSAJh3/?tagged=unfashionvintage
