We are back with another open-air mall concept, but this time, we are headed to 72 Courtyard. You can’t miss this establishment from the well-known Sukhumvit 55, as the large, concrete-slab exterior is decorated with nothing other than its name in block letters. From the outside, the mall might strike visitors as simple, but its interior is anything but. For a drink, we recommend heading directly to Beer Belly. With 20 taps of craft beer, restaurant-goers will find no shortage of ales to get their buzz on. From crafts to drafts and a plethora of imported beers, visitors might find themselves leaving Beer Belly with one of their own. All of these beers are best paired with one of the many bar games Beer Belly is equipped with, including pool, jenga, battleship, and even beer pong. There is an abundance of outside seating available, for those who wish to enjoy Bangkok’s weather on a cooler day. Beer Belly often welcomes live performers, so grab your favorite brew and enjoy the impeccable atmosphere at this cool restaurant, bar, gaming arena, and more.

Rabbit Hole only launched in December 2015, but it has already made a big impression on Bangkok’s bar scene. The speakeasy’s impeccably designed interior is one that is hard to compete with, outfitted with dark décor throughout. There is no sign on the door, so hopeful visitors must be on the look out to find this hidden gem of bars behind the big wooden door that first greets those who enter. If you get lost, Rabbit Hole is located between Soi 5 and 7. This three-story bar is equipped with ample black leather bar stools throughout, making it the perfect place to sit and enjoy a signature cocktail (or two). One of Rabbit Hole’s favorite cocktails is ‘Cry Me to the Moon,’ a sick combination of truffle gin, pandan syrup, apple juice, and a hint of lemon.
