Taipei is a busy city with plenty of things to do, but as with every bustling metropolis, there is a need for a place where locals can relax and take a break from their hectic lives. And there’s no better way to de-stress than with a massage, and, here in Taipei, massage parlors are plentiful. But which are the best?

1. Hawaii Spa

Massage Parlour

A family-run massage parlor located in Zhongshan District, Hawaii Spa is known as one of the best places to get a foot massage in the city. Although the place itself is a little older and not in the luxurious category as some other parlors, it is nevertheless an incredibly quiet and relaxing location given that it is in the middle of a very busy area. The staff here are quick to help customers decide on a service and will even warn you if there’s a chance it may hurt even the slightest bit.

2. Sparadise - the Organic Meridian Massage Spa

3. Villa.like Spa

Massage Parlour

A luxurious spa with modern decor and late-night services based in the heart of the city. This parlor offers an incredible range of services from deep-tissue massage to basic foot massage. Although they are busy, they do accept walk-ins any time of the day or night. With its superb location, this is a great place for a late-night massage.

5. Yawara

Massage Parlour

An authentic Thai massage parlor located in the bustling Linsen North Road area. This place comes highly recommended by the many locals that feel it offers one of the most genuine Thai massage experiences in the city. Here, you can have everything from cupping therapy to foot massage, and all of it carried out by Thai therapists.

6. Moon Spa Thai Massage

Massage Parlour

Moon Spa is a Thai massage parlor located in the Zhongshan district of Taipei. There are quite a lot of Thai massage places in the city but this one is quietly gaining a reputation as one of the best. It’s a modern and well maintained place with wonderfully attentive staff who will go out of their way to help any way that they can. Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
