The Best Happy Hour Deals In Singapore
There are a lot of great things about living in Singapore, and for most residents and travelers one of the the only major complaints is the price of alcohol. With the Raffles Hotel’s famous Singapore Sling priced at $35++, it’s easy to think that a few drinks in the Lion City will leave a giant hole in your wallet. Here’s our guide to Singapore’s best happy hour deals whether you’re after a pint of craft beer or a top shelf martini.
Loof

Brewerkz
Bar, Restaurant, American
Fans of craft beer should rejoice because Brewerkz has the best happy hour for beers island-wide. Head over to one of their four locations (our favorite is Riverside Point, it’s perfect for people-watching and right next to the Singapore River at Clarke Quay) between noon and 3pm when pints are just $7++ onwards. Ask your waiter about the beer of the week which is discounted a further $2 before 7pm, meaning between 3pm and 7pm, a pint of that week’s beer goes for $9 or $10++, depending on the style. Follow the Brewerkz FB page for updates on weekly promotions and events.
Martini Bar at Mezza 9

Tanuki Raw
Restaurant, Japanese, Fusion, Sushi
Tanuki Raw is another place that hopes to entice you to leave work a bit early, as their happy hour runs daily from 5-7pm at Kapok and 5-8pm at Orchard Central. Their happy hour offers are $10++ martinis and cocktails, and $12++ pints. They’ve also embraced Singapore’s recent oyster happy hour trend and with each cocktail, you can order freshly-shucked oysters for $2++/shell. Not a fan of oysters? At the Orchard Central branch, they also offer a free beef slider with every cocktail purchased.

Emerald Hill No. 5
Bar, Cocktail Bar, Fusion, American
This bar, referred to by locals as just ‘No. 5,’ offers the longest happy hour in Orchard. Located in a row of shophouses near Somerset MRT, No. 5 is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of work or shopping. Don’t worry about trying to find it by the name or number, instead look out for their alfresco space decorated by beautiful red Chinese lanterns. Inside the two-story shophouse, you’ll find a mix of relaxed lounging space and high tables with stools. The bar offers their customers peanuts and encourages them to throw the shells on the floor. At No. 5, happy hour starts every day at noon with $8 house pours and $10 house wines until 9pm, but the happy hours don’t end there – the bar offers 1-for-1 martinis from 9pm until 1am.
