Singapore may be known to many as a Garden City, and these cafés are no different. From lush interiors to cute, nature-themed desserts, read our guide below to find the best garden-themed cafés in Singapore.

PS Cafe @ Dempsey

Literally surrounded by nature, PS Cafe @ Dempsey features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook Dempsey’s lush greenery. If you fancy some sun, head on to the outdoor deck and sip on your afternoon wine as you tuck into local-inspired Western dishes and sweet, gooey cakes.

Bee’s Knees @ The Garagebird

The latest addition to the list of restaurants in Singapore Botanic Gardens, Bee’s Knees is a family-friendly restaurant housed in a historic building. Inspired by the social behavior of bees, the restaurant is a perfect spot for a social weekend or to catch up with old friends over pasta, fresh pastries, and unique desserts like the pandan gula melaka pancakes.

Birds of a Feather

Don’t let its garden theme fool you—Birds of a Feather’s menu resembles Sichuan cuisine and if we know one thing about Sichuan food, it’s that some render intolerable its penchant for spicy flavors. Thankfully, there are mild-flavored dishes served here too, but if you’re in the mood for some adventure, try the “find the chicken in the chilies,” a Sichuan staple of chicken bites cooked with an avalanche of red chilies!

Knots Cafe & Living

Located in Payar Lebar, Knots Cafe & Living effortlessly embodies the concept of a garden café—you will find potted plants of all sizes, adding to the relaxing ambiance of the high-ceiling café, while eclectic furniture and and light pieces add a contemporary touch. Indulge in buttery waffles, a wide range of flaky pastries, or enjoy a cuppa while you laze your Sunday away.

Wildseed Cafe & The Summerhouse

Taking over The Oval @ Singapore Aerospace Park is a two-story conservation house, where The Summerhouse and Wildseed Cafe is located. Wildseed Cafe is located on the ground level, decked out in tasteful garden elements and serves freshly baked pastries, cakes, afternoon tea, and coffee from Nomad The Gallant. For something more substantial, head upstairs and dine at The Summerhouse, a farm-to-table concept restaurant, which transforms into a bar with the added bonus of live acoustic music at the weekend.

Picnic

As its name aptly suggests, Picnic is Singapore’s first garden-themed foodcourt located in Wisma Atria, with food stalls and food trucks serving international flavors in a green, lush, and spacious venue. Designed to fit big crowds, this is the best place to convene and try a wide selection of Western and Asian cuisines, as well as homemade desserts and a coffee bar.
