Nervous about leaving your beloved pet bunny when you go on holiday? You can now check them into their own hotel at The Fluffy Hut, Singapore’s first commercial boarding home for rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, and guinea pigs.

Boasting the ability to let you keep an eye on your precious pets 24/7 through an IP camera via your mobile phone, creature guests at The Fluffy Hut also enjoy around-the-clock air-conditioning, organic fruits and vegetables, on top of treats and supplements, and even grooming services for a little extra.

Bunnies aren’t the only guests at The Fluffy Hut

The Fluffy Hut was started by rabbit lovers and owners Adrian Chua and Rachel Sio, who were frustrated by the lack of commercial options available for their own pet rabbits. Dog and cat commercial boarding houses are more commonly found in Singapore, but creatures like rabbits are usually looked after by amateur home-based sitters. A bad home-sitting experience with infrequent updates and an unhappy rabbit led the pair to start their own service and provide more comprehensive care for other rabbit owners.

Only the best for your furry friends

While both owners run The Fluffy Hut on top of their regular day jobs, they make the effort to ensure the animals are well taken care of, providing personalised ‘binky’ or play time with the animals. They even give advice to boarders on how to take better care of their pets.

The Fluffy Hut currently has 32 enclosures and is located at Ubi Techpark. Rates start from S$5 for hamsters and S$20 for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. The Fluffy Hut website also features other pet products and accessories, and there seems to be plans to expand services offered to include pet photography and specialised baked food for pets in the future.
