The tropical bone-shaped island of Boracay, about 443km (275mi) south of Manila, is only 7km (4mi) long. However, Travel + Leisure’s readers rank it among the world’s best islands for its powder-soft beaches, jaw-dropping sunsets and friendly local villages. Today, this island, which was rarely visited until the 1970s, has plenty of glossy resorts to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a five-star luxury hotel, family-friendly cottages or a beachside bolthole, we’ve got you covered. Read on to discover the best resorts in Boracay, bookable with Culture Trip.
