The multi-cultural metropolis of Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan and the capital of the Kanagawa prefecture. When you visit this vibrant city you’ll find one of the world’s largest Chinatowns, a breezy bay front, great international restaurants, a buzzing arts scene, groovy jazz clubs, various microbreweries and many fantastic bars. 1. The Tavern

Pub, Pub Grub

The Tavern is a classy pub that was opened in China Town in 1985 making it the first English bar in Yokohama. If you are a beer and sports lover, then you’ll feel at home inside The Tavern. They boast a fine selection of draught and bottled beers, including international favorites such as London Pride, Guinness, Kilkenny, Kirin Ichibanshibori, Yona Yona Craft Ale, Cider and Guest Beer. If you don’t feel like drinking beer they also serve cocktails. Order one of their delicious meals to complement your drink while you watch major sports on the big screen TV.

The Hub

Another famous British bar in Yokohama is The Hub, conveniently located close to Yokohama’s station. They offer a great selection of beers, whiskies, wines, cocktails and spirits. Thrash Zone is a place for beer lovers who would like to hang out in an environment with metal décor and heavy metal music playing in the background. There are 15 stools at the bar and another 15 at standing counters where you can enjoy what customers come here for – the beer. The Green Sheep is an Irish bar with a Japanese flare. It is ideally located close to the west exit of the station and it is also close to popular landmarks.
